Forgotten Coast 4th of July Celebrations

White Sands has been having a blast participating in all our local July 4th festivities! With the excitement simmering down, we would like to celebrate our crew’s hard work to make these events memorable for our locals and tourists alike.

2023 7th Annual Sea Turtle Festival Vendors.

Port St. Joe kicked off the Forgotten Coasts’ 4th of July celebrations with the 7th Annual Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Festival. This festival is hosted every year to educate locals and tourists about sea turtles and how important they are to the coastal habitats they call home.

This year 40 vendors participated in this year’s festivities alongside 11 educational booths that included live turtles of various species for attendees to interact with.

2023 Apalachicola Waterfront July 3rd firework show.

Apalachicola kicked off there Independence Day celebrations on July 3rd in downtown Apalachicola’s Riverfront Park. Live music and vendors started to line the streets at noon with food, drinks, and merchandise for attendees of the Apalachicola Waterfront July 3rd Celebration.

The Owl Tap Room joined in the celebrations by setting up a cash bar outside of the Owl Café. Offering a variety of delicious alcoholic beverages for guests making their way to the main festivities the firework show taking place over the beautiful bay.

The Apalachicola Waterfront July 3rd Celebration relies on the sponsorship of local businesses to ensure this long-standing tradition continues for years to come.

White Sands Hospitality was one of the many local 2023 “Stars & Stripes Sponsor” contributing funds to the festivities to ensure this beloved event has a long future in Apalachicola.

With July 3rd coming to a close July 4th was finally on the horizon. The St. George Island Water Parade kicked off July 4th on Tuesday morning.

Our crew at Cape & Coast Premier Properties took part in the water-filled event. Showering parade participants with water hoses, novelty guns and water balloons.
